The Lizard Short Blade Safety Knife is designed to prevent cuts and lacerations
. Regular utility knives can cause injury while cutting, or while handling

Loose blades cause injuries, contaminate product and can lead to medical
claims. The blade of the Lizard is permanently imbedded in the handle of the
knife. You never need to change blades. When the blade dulls,
dispose of the entire Lizard knife. There is never any need to touch or change
the blade.
Competing safety knives are expensive and not as safe as the Lizard. In our tests, competing knives break easily, and do not protect you from lacerations as well as the Lizard safety knife.
Directions for Use:
- Never place your hands or fingers near the blade or blade guard.
- Cutting: Firmly grasp the Lizard and press the blade guard down on surface to be cut. The blade guard will retract enabling you to start your cut.
- Always cut away from your body.
- For maximum protection ALWAYS wear a cut resistant glove on the hand not holding the knife.
- When cut is complete lock safety blade guard closed by pressing guard forward until it "clicks" closed.
