The Mr Beams LED Step Lights are wireless lights with motion sensor and a bright LED that never needs to be replaced. Motion sensor activates the bright white LED light. It's durable weatherproof design allows it to be mounted anywhere. Great to light anything from closets, stairways, patios, bedrooms, and gazebos.
Because this unit operated with an LED light, it only costs about $4 a year to operate with normal usage with an LED bulb that has 50,000 hours of use, which lights an area of 120 square feet. It automatically turns on whenever it detects motion, and automatically deactivates if motion is not detected for 20 or 60 seconds, depending on the setting. When darkness is detected, the glowing star light will activate to show it's location, and when motion is detected the LED lights up to brighten your way.
